Heber City offers nearly limitless opportunity for an off roading experience that is sure to meet your adventurous expectations. We are surrounded by mountain trails in every direction! Take your Utah ATV or UTV rentals to high elevation vistas, across creek crossings, and by sightings of deer, elk and moose. It is an adventure you must experience on your visit to Utah. Regardless of if you are a local or out of state visitor, we have you covered. Located 25 minutes from Park City, 30 minutes from Provo / Orem area, 45 minutes from Salt Lake City and only one hour from Ogden. Uinta Recreation has Heber Valley’s largest selection of UTV’s, and side by sides to choose from.
Rent and Ride!
- With Uinta Recreation you can ride directly from our private trail head and access trails in the Wasatch Mountain State Park. No need to trailer our equipment! Our private trail head is only 5 minutes from our shop and easy to access. This keeps the rental process simple and smooth.
- Even though the majority of rentals ride from our private trail head for 2 hour, 3 hour and full day increments, we also offer multi day rentals and allow our equipment to be towed to other trail systems. Please call to book these options. We can provide a trailer at no additional charge

Full day rentals ride time is from 9:00 am – 4:30 pm. Please remember that the arrival time for full day rentals is 8 AM. This allows us enough time to complete paperwork, fit with helmets and goggles and for you to drive to the private trail head to pick up your equipment and start your ride by 9 AM. Please remember to complete your pre arrival checklist prior to arriving. If you do not have it completed, it will reduce your allotted ride time. No extra time will be given if you haven’t completed your pre arrival checklist.
Required pre arrival items.
1. Utah OHV Education Course (Required for the operators only)
2. Complete your online waivers. A link is emailed to you after making a reservation. The subject of the email is titled “Action Required for your Booking”. All adults are required to read, fill out and sign one for themselves and every minor must have one filled out and signed by their legal parent or guardian. Once you have completed yours (from the email) it will give you the option to add another or to share it with others. Please ensure that every participant from your group completes the waiver.
3. Watch the required “Communications and Emergencies” instruction video. All participants are required to do this.
4. Watch the required “Map and Directions” Video to understand how to navigate the trail system. -
3 hour rentals ride time is from either 8:30 AM – 11:30 AM or 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM. Please remember that the arrival time for the morning 3 hour rental is 8 AM, and the arrival time for the afternoon 3 hour rental is 12:00 / Noon. This allows us enough time to complete paperwork, fit with helmets and goggles and for you to drive to the private trail head to pick up your equipment and start your ride on time. Please remember to complete your pre arrival checklist prior to arriving. If you do not have it completed, it will reduce your allotted ride time. No extra time will be given if you haven’t completed your pre arrival checklist.

2 hour rentals ride time is from either 9 AM – 11 AM, 12 PM to 2 PM or 3 PM – 5 PM. Please remember that the arrival time for the morning 2 hour rental is 8 AM, and the arrival time for the midday 2 hour rental is 11:30 AM and the arrival time for the afternoon 2 hour rental is 2:30 PM. This allows us enough time to complete paperwork, fit with helmets and goggles and for you to drive to the private trail head to pick up your equipment and start your ride on time. Please remember to complete your pre arrival checklist prior to arriving. If you do not have it completed, it will reduce your allotted ride time. All rentals include a helmet. Deliveries to our private trail head in the Charleston / Midway area (Wasatch Mountain State Park Area) are free and are available on same day rentals. Major credit card required must have a minimum $2500 available credit and an authorization for $2500 per reservation is required for a security deposit. You must be 25 years old or older to rent a 1000 CC side by side, 21 years old or older to rent 700CC machines. All drivers must be 18 years old or older and have a valid drivers license. There is no minimum age for passengers. However, young children, toddlers and babies may only ride as a passenger IF they are properly restrained in a properly fitted for their size, child car seat or booster. It is your responsibility to provide these items. Rental price does not include fuel, tire hazard agreement, damage agreements, or goggle rentals. All operators are required to complete the Utah State (Required by law) Adult OHV Education course, in order to operate a OHV (Off Highway Vehicle) in Utah. Passengers are not required.

Damage agreements are intended to limit your liability for damages in the event of an accident. Damage agreements are not insurance. Damage agreements cover damages to the vehicle only and do not cover personal injury, other peoples equipment, recovery or downtime. Damage agreements are required and are purchased per day, per machine. Damage agreements are meant to cover you in the event of an accident and do not cover reckless behavior. There are certain actions that will void the damage agreement so please read our rental agreement carefully.

Our Side by Side or RZR rentals are a perfect compliment to your Utah vacation.
