Built for both stability and space, the Defender Max HD7 is a popular UTV rental for families. It features two rows of bench seating, allowing for three people in the front and three in the back. Despite its size, the Defender’s ride quality is exceptionally smooth, making it ideal for the forest roads and scenic trails of the Wasatch-Cache National Forest.

Engine Power: This family-friendly side-by-side rental features a 52 HP Rotax ACE engine. Its design allows the vehicle to carry large loads and multiple passengers, even up tough hills.

Seating: Offering 6-passenger seating that is spacious and easy to get in and out of, the Defender is the ultimate choice for families with kids and even grandparents who want to tag along for the ride.

Choosing the right UTV rental depends largely on your preferences, riding experience, and who will be with you on your adventure. Please note that you must be at least 21 years old to rent and at least 18 years old (with a valid driver’s license) to drive. There is no minimum age for passengers. Children must ride in an appropriate car seat or booster seat in accordance with our safety policies (car seats are not provided). Here are some things to keep in mind:

Cons

It’s Large: Due to its size, the Defender isn’t ideal for narrow or single-track trails. However, it’s perfect for the beautiful, wide-open trails we use on our Park City UTV tours.
Utility-Focused: While you won’t get the extreme speed you can achieve on our Maverick or Commander 1000R, this vehicle is more than capable of handling any hill on our usual routes.
