UTAH BACHELOR PARTY UTV TOURS

HEBER VALLEY BACKCOUNTRY FOR THE WHOLE CREW

If you are planning a bachelor party in Park City or Salt Lake City and want an activity that the whole group will still be talking about a year from now, a guided UTV tour through the Wasatch Mountain backcountry is worth a serious look. At Uinta Recreation, we are based in Heber City at 2210 S Highway 40 — 25 minutes from Park City, 45 minutes from Salt Lake City, and 30 minutes from Provo — and we have been putting groups like yours on Can-Am side-by-sides through some of the most spectacular terrain in Utah since 2007.

This is not a zip line or a ropes course. You are on a high-performance machine in real backcountry trails, with a guide out front managing the group and keeping things moving. It is competitive, physical, and genuinely fun in a way that most group activities are not.

Why Guided Tours Work Best for Bachelor Parties

When you have eight or ten guys on machines, a guided tour is the way to go. Your guide leads from the front, sets the pace, and handles all the logistics so nobody has to be in charge. The group stays together, nobody gets lost, and the groom does not have to worry about navigating while everyone else keeps up.

Our guided side-by-side tours depart directly from our headquarters and run three hours through the Wasatch Mountain State Park trail system. A 2-vehicle minimum is required to book, so a bachelor party group almost always qualifies easily. We will match your group size to the right number of machines and make sure everyone is fitted with helmets and briefed before you ride.

For groups who want to take machines to a separate location or have a different setup in mind, self-guided UTV rentals are also available — call us, and we will work out the logistics.

The Ride

Tours run through some of the best terrain in the Heber Valley. Dutch Hollow is a 12-mile loop with around 1,200 feet of elevation gain — enough to get your heart rate up without it being a technical challenge. Snake Creek Canyon follows historic mining routes with 360-degree views of Mount Timpanogos that hit differently when you are riding through them in a Can-Am at full throttle. Depending on your tour, the route may include stops at Cascade Springs or elevated viewpoints above the Jordanelle Reservoir.

Your guide reads the group throughout the ride. If your crew wants to push the pace, the guide takes you on more aggressive terrain. The route is not locked in — it responds to who is on the trail.

THE MACHINES

We run five Can-Am models and purchase new equipment every season. For bachelor parties, the four-seat Maverick Sport Max 1000R is popular — 100 HP, high-performance suspension, and room for four per machine. The six-passenger Defender Max HD7 works well if you want the group riding together in fewer vehicles. Two-seat options include the Commander DPS 700, Commander XT 700, and Commander XT 1000R for riders who want the most horsepower. All operators must be 18 or older with a valid license. Operators of 1000cc machines must be 25 or older.

Planning Your Bachelor Party UTV Tour

Most of our bachelor party bookings come from out of state — groups flying into Salt Lake City or already staying in Park City. Heber City is an easy drive from both and does not require a complicated logistics chain to pull off. Here’s our simple 3-step process:

Step 1

Give us a call before you book

Tell us your group size, your dates, whether you are coming from Park City or Salt Lake City, and how long you have. We will put together the right setup — machine count, tour type, timing — so the day runs smoothly without anyone having to manage it.

Step 2

Book early

Bachelor party dates fill up, especially during the summer. The sooner you lock in your date, the more flexibility you have on machine selection and group size. We strongly recommend reaching out three months or more in advance, and if you are booking during our slower months — April, May, October, or November — ask about our early booking discounts. Group discounts are also available, so it is always worth having a conversation before you finalize.

Step 3

Complete the Utah OHV Education Course before riding

All operators are required to complete this beforehand, as it’s a state law requirement in Utah. Online waivers must also be completed before arrival. We will send everything you need after booking, so the group is ready to ride the moment you show up.
